Default Survey Point and Project Base Point Visible in new views

I have an interestign issue that I want to make sure I understand.

I found this action in a file I have and was able to recreate it OOTB as it were too so this is no fluke of my meger template.

If the survey point is visible anywhere in the drawings, new detail views will be default to be big enough to see them.

I can get rid of the survey and base point symbols in the views themselves or handle it with a view template, but I am unsure what is happening. By turning the points on or off am I then soemhow settign the defualt view template for new views? Then too if you hid the category of the survey and base point, new views do not contain the points...if you only hide the elements of th epoints they will show up in the new views.

Sorry for the ramble, but this is correct behavior?

    Thanks,
    Drew

Sorted this out myself. You just have to turn the PBP & Survey Point off in the view you are going to set up on the Plot Sheet before importing to the plot sheet.
