Default UTM aerial into State Plane drawing

    Hi,

Using Map only. I need to insert an aerial image (.tif with.tfw) that is UTM NAD83 Zone13 Meters, or UTM83-13 into my basemap drawing which is NAD83 HARN, State Plane Colorado, North Zone, US Survey Feet, or COHP-NF.

I've tried several ways and can't make it work. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks,

    macdonim

There are two ways. First you'll need to assign the coord system to your drawing if you haven't already.

First and simplest way is using FDO. This will automatically transform the image to the correct system. There are some limitation, especially if your're sharing with non-map users.

Second way is to create a new drawing and set its coord system to be the same as the image. Import the image and save/close drawing. In your basemap, query in the new drawing containing the image. The query will transform to your basemap coord system.
