    Default underlay

I want to may walls of my underlay to show up as light dashed lines. Is there a way to do this?

use the Linework tool set to a dashed linetype and click on the lines of the plan in the underlay. Then you can turn off the underlay if you'd like. The dashed lines will automatically update with and changes to the plan.

If the underlay is something static that is unlikely to change, I often export the plan to AutoCAD and then import it into my floor plan. It is easy to control the linework and the visibility and there is usually a lot less tracing to do. I often do this with existing conditions in renovation projects. Phasing gives me a headache
