    Question Parameter Elevation Problems

Ok I have been trying to figure out how to tag the top elevation of a footing, column, or framing. I have an elevation tag for footings but it reads from the bottom of footing and can't for the life of me figure out how to change that to top. I know in the parameters of the footing it has a Elevation at Dottom Parameter which I need to change to Elevation at Top. I need to create one of these also for the columns and the framing. If anyone would know how to do this would you please let me know. Thank you.

    Default Re: Parameter Elevation Problems

Are you using the default elevation tag? (System family)

You can set the selection in the instance properties. (Refer to the attached image)

You can either select the top of the element, the bottom, or the top and bottom. The final option is the part of the element you have selected.

The symbol can be changed to suit your requirements.

    Does that help?
