    Default Clearing Pipe Offset Dimensions

    Is there a way to clear out all the Pipe offset dimensions that show up in the list while working on a project?

    I am little unsure what you mean... but if you are trying to change the height of all the pipes and pipe fittings.
    Select everything in a view and filter out everything but Pipes and Pipe Fittings.

    I think he's talking about the long list of everything you've entered as an offset before that shows up in the drop-down menu. I'm not sure how to clear it out. I notice it gets longer and then shorter, I thought maybe it was reset when you make a new local copy but I tried that and there were still a few (not as many though.

    Highlight the offset that you don't want to be in the list any more and press the "delete" key on the keyboard (just highlight the item with the mouse, don't click it).

    It's "sweet" that there are many different ways to delete or remove from Revit.
    * highlight than hit Delete key (Offset)
    * Select-->right click Delete (Views)
    * Select-->Remove icon (VG Filters)
    * Select-->Delete icon (Filters)
    * Purge unused (Text styles)

    Some have icons, some have buttons, some right click and some you can hit delete.

    Consistent Windows accelerator keys would improve user performance.

    Speaking of, Why can we select ALL in Model categories, but not in Filters within the same dialog box? Why can't we use Ctrl+A?

    If I want to rename a filter I can hit F2 and modify it in place. However I cannot use Ctrl+A. If I highlight a filter and click on the Rename icon I can use Ctrl+A.

    These inconsistencies make absolutely no sense whatsoever.

    Timsea81 has it correct. I would like to be able to clear the list. I know that you can go one by one, but the list is so large it would take a while. We will be using Revit to do BIM coordination for Plumbing and this ends up creating many different elevations.

    If anyone else has any thoughts, let me know.

    Still one by one? There is no way to clear the entire list? It takes forever. If you make a mistake or if you cancel, it does not delete the ones you deleted. For example, I said offset, then deleted about 200 of them, then I accidentally hit an offset value too small for the fitting to make, it cancelled everything including my deletions!
