Default Visibility issue with parameter selection

    Okay,

I have made an annotation family to perform unit conversions.

The problem I am having is this. When double clicking the symbol (placed in a project) to modify the input values, I only get the 'Value 2 Input' regardless of which label is visible. When 'Unit 2 ² Unit 1' is unchecked I would expect 'Value 1 Input' to available for modification.

This only started happening after adding 'Unit input values' to grey out the unit values when entering info in the above described method.

    Can anyone suggest a solution?

    Peace...

Default Re: Visibility issue with parameter selection

When you first place the instance, whatever one was "true" when it was placed will be the parameters that you can modify after placement (through double-clicking anyway) - regardless of visibility parameters you change after it's placed.

    Couple solutions.

You can make them type parameters - this sorta defeats the purpose though it seems.

You can make them both visible by default but make the one that is on top turn off to expose the one below. In this case, both parameters can be modified regardless of visibility. The issue here is that the text below may extend beyond the top text (maybe not?). You could probably resolve this though with some creative text masking.

    Hope that helps.
