2008 civil 3d GIS shape files

Hi I have been asked to provide shape file format simular to gis information of lots/parcels with owner names and pin numbers can anyone assist me with the "how to" on this? And is it possible to do in 2008? lmk thanks Christine

Civil 3D is built on Map, so you should have access to the ._MapExport command.
Do the entities you want to export contain Object Data or have a database of information associated with them? If not do you have to provide the data also or just the graphics?
