Pipe elbow going wrong direction

Thanks for the family tip, that's good to know.

What I've been doing to avoid the problem you're having with the tee fitting is to go into the pipe properties and change the fitting to a wye, or whatever fitting I need, before I draw the pipe and then change it back.

It's kind of a pain, which is why I added a request to the wishlist a while back about being able to somehow toggle a choice of fittings when connecting pipes.

What version are you using?

I always found that fitting hard to manage but have managed to massage it into place in previous releases (2009 & 2010).

But I am finding that in 2011 it is just about unusable compared to previous release.

Trying to mirror/flip/rotate etc.. this fitting into place on sloped pipe almost becomes impossible and I am losing so much time and productivity trying to make it work.

I don't understand why we (the users) have to deal with issues like this.
Shouldn't it just work? I'm getting tired of massaging (workarounds) 75% of everything I do in Revit.
