Default Void visibility (within a line based family)

I don't see it immediately in the properties, but I am wondering if there is a way to control a void (to come on and off in view) controlled through the visibile check box portion within the Graphics portion of the Properties. I know you can do this with a solid with a simple yes / no parameter. However, it seems voids are ridiculously simple in that they don't have a Graphics portion or a Visibile box that can be controlled with a yes / no parameter.

Does anyone know of a work around?

    I really appreciate the help!

Unfortunatly you can´t use a Yes/No for visbility with Voids... The workaround is to use a length parameter, to drive the Void into / or out of the solid that needs to be cut at certain circumstances....
The Length parameter can then be tied to a Yes/No parameter if wanted/needed

Just in case that the above reply is pure nonsense, I made this quick basic example of what it´s suposed to describe

I knew about to move the void forth and back, but this one hit the nail.

Munkholm, thanks for sharing this interesting technique. ( I tried to give you a green card but the system told me that I must spread reputation cards to other people before giving it to you again)
