Question Raster/vector Plotting - XP to HP Designjet 230

When I upgraded from Autocad to Inventor Series I also had to upgrade my computer from Windows 98 to XP Personal. Ever since then, any drawings from Autocad 2004 DX containing inserted raster images will not be fully processed in my HP Designjet 230 Plotter.
I've tried upgrading memory in the potter, spooling in the computer, converting to earlier versions and even DXF. I have the latest drivers installed and do not see any Firmware available from the HP website.
My only alternative has been to hook my plotter up to another PC with Windows 98 still running, save the drawing in 2000i and transfer it to that computer. Then it will plot out almost instantly, but I can't keep doing this.
Any suggestions besides buying a new plotter?

    Hi

How is the HP DesignJet 230 set-up within AutoCAD -

    Windows Driver
    or
    Heidi Driver

If you haven't tried the Heidi Driver give that a go and see what results you get.

Have a browse of the following thread (especially take note of any links within) -

ID: TS17335 - Plotted drawings contain streaks or plot is incomplete

    Have a good one, Mike
