Using A2008, I'm adding to the mtext symbol list. Of particular frustration is the perpendicular symbol. The one I want to use is the lower case b in the gdt font. I see that some of the built-in symbols already specify a font. I know how to use the registry to create new symbols or strings but I can't figure how to add a font code.
I've tried {\fgdt|c0;b} and many variations similar to that but all it does is insert that code as a text string. I've used those formatting type codes in lisp before to automatically create stacked fractions in multileader text.
For now I put "Perpendicular (GDT)" as the symbol name to remind me which font to reformat the lower case b with as a workaround.
Does anyone know how to fool AutoCAD and the registry to include the font code?
