Default Produced by and Autodesk Educational Product

When I plot a drawing the message "Produced by and Autodesk Educational Product" prints out on all four sides of the plot. Short of searching for the block that was produced this message is there a quick way to fix this problem? Oh yeah I am using AutoCAD 2005.

Search Autodesk's TS documents for details. You will need to contact your VAR for a solution. Someone has used an educational version of AutoCAD to produce drawings/blocks for commercial use, which is bad.

I thought the whole idea of printing these plotstamps was to stop people trying to use educational products for commercial use. It sounds like you are trying to use an educational product for commercial use. Personally, I don`t care, but Autodesk might not be too happy - you might be advised to tread carefully here.

That might not be the issue here. Sometimes people create blocks, templates ect while in class/training and do not understand the problems with using objects that they created while using an educational version....

    Hey Brian!
If you know who provided you with the drawing, you may wish to let them know that the educational stamp was on it as it could cause some major problems for them, too, if they got it from somewhere else.
Meanwhile, there is something I got at AU that may help you if you still have a copy of 2002 in the office. Supposedly you can use the Recover feature in 2002, recover the drawing, and that will remove the educational stamp. I haven't tried it myself, but It apparently ONLY works with 2002's recover. I have also heard someone suggest trying the DXFIN, then DXFOUT in 2005.
Otherwise, I do understand that you may need to talk to Autodesk or your reseller to prove your license status and ask for help in removal.
    Good luck!

Just to get back to you, the DXFOUT worked. Thanks.
