    Default Tracing DWG in Revit

I have an existing condition model of a partially demolshed building. I have sucessfully traced the architectural and structural elemnts as they are built, but I am having trouble creating the pipes as they exisit. They are sloped vertically and angeld horizontally. This s giving me problems when trying to make connections between pipes. Does anyone know a way I can make these connections with these not perfectly square segements of pipe?

Working with angles and connections is definitely not an easy task in Revit.
    Especially with piping.
If at all possible draw from your mains out.
Modifying pipes after they are placed will also give you unexpected (expected) results.
Draw vertically sloped pipes in section and horizontally sloped from that main in section as well.
If you are in plan and modify a sloped branch line (change the angle from the vertical stack) the pipe will sometimes loose it's slope.

Like I said it isn't easy, but as you constantly fight it, you will learn what works and what won't.
    good luck.
