HP T770 plotter problem

Purchased a HP Designjest T770 plotter. Installed it using the factory CD but a few days later the plotter was moved to our server and given an IP address. I removed the plotter loaded with the CD and installed the network plotter. I am running AutoCAD 2010 LT and now when I select the new plotter the plot window is very slow to open. I have tried this plotter with other software and have no problems, any suggestions?

AutoCAD might still be looking for the plotter as originally installed. Go to Options\Files\Printer Support File Path and make sure only the new installation is referenced.

...and also make sure the "old install" is not still listed as a windows system printer.

In fact, make sure there are no "dead" printers in both your system printers and in the list of AutoCAD .PC3 files.
