Point Cloud File Indexing Errors

Running on CAD 2011 (64bit), I get the following error message everytime I try to index a point cloud:



It never generates the PCG file. The FLS files are valid and good. How do I find out what specific errors were found/noted? How do I get CAD 2011 to index the FLS (Faro scans)?

According my own experience the problem you met could come from 2 things :
1) You try to convert the latest version of *.fls or *.fws file into PCG file. To be able to do that you must install the latest version of the Faro SDK i.e. version 4.8.
2) You already installed the version 4.8 of the FARO SDK but as you are using AutoCAD 64 Bits you install the 64 Bits version of the Faro SDK. But it seems that even on AutoCAD 64 Bits the tool which are converting *.fls or *.fws into PCG files is only compatible with the version 32 Bits of the FARO SDK. So you have to install this version.
If you want to have the latest version of the Faro SDK I think that the best solution is to contact the FARO Team with this email adress : support@faroeurope.com

Puede ser que tu tienes el archivo fws hecho en el nuevo scanner de faro con 64 bits y tu equipo es de 32 bits podria ser el problema?
