    Default Shaft Tool

I am a newish user to Revit so please bear with me. I have noticed that after creating shafts with the above tool I can not edit them. Clicking on them and editing the boundary takes me to the overall slab boundary and does not include the shafts. The only way I can edit shafts is by editing the slab boundary directly and creating holes in the slab, floor by floor, a time consuming process.

Is there another tool I have to use to edit holes cut with the shaft tool?
    Thanks.

    Default Re: Shaft Tool

Use the tab key to select the shaft. Hover over the opening and hit the tab key. As you hover over the object, the first highlighted object should be the slab, the second should be the shaft. If not, window over the entire opening, or use a crossing window at the edge, then you can use the filter to get just the shaft object.
Next time you create a shaft, use the symbolic lines for the opening. Then you can select the symbolic line to be able to edit the shaft.

    Hope this helps.
