    Default Custom metal panels/cutouts

I have a series of metal panels with a custom perforation pattern (a repeating flower image) that I would like to have show up in elevations and sections (line drawings, not renderings) so that I can actually see through the panel where the openings occur.

Is this possible in Revit? In CAD I would just trace the image and trim lines behind as required, doesn't seem to be as easy in Revit. Thanks.

If you will need to see through then you will need to create a void family and cut your panel with it.
