    Default Associated Level?

In the properties dialog box in the extents location under associated level, mine says Ground Floor Ceiling Plan. Is there a way of editing this? I have looked in the help part of revit and have found nothing. It says it is a read only parameter. This also shows up in my view range. Is there a way of changing this? Help?

If you are talking about moving a component family to another level or workplane, then click on the component and use the contextual PICK NEW HOST tool on the MODIFY tab.

    Hope this helps.

Not quite, it is associated with the whole view.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, it may be the case that the associated level is set when the view is created and cannot be changed. You will have to create a new view if you want a different associated level.

That is what I was afraid of. I was hoping there was an easier way. Thanks much though. It did confirm what I was thinking.
