Default No Reference Tag in Dependent Views

When we create revisions on small sheets we will create a dependent view, then crop it down to fit on the small revision sheet. This works really great because changes are made on the small sheets and the large sheets. Only problem is when the dependent view is placed on a sheets the reference tags of both views are sitting on top of one another. We then have to go back and hide the reference tag we do not want to reference. This gets messy and sometimes the user will forgot to hide the reference view.

Does anyone know if there is a way to create a dependent view that will not create a reference tag?

    A reference tag?

I'm guessing you either mean the "matchlines" or the viewport title.

Matchlines can be turned off in the VG settings - then use a View Template to carry those changes through to all other views.

Viewport titles are a Type Property of the Viewport object and can be turned on or off in there.

If its neither of these, might be a good idea to post a screen shot...
