    Default Connection Design

Does anyone know if there are plans to add connection design according to AISC?

Are there any changes to connection design in Robot 2012?

Most Autodesk products have been released for 2012. Does anyone have Robot 2012?

Robot 2011 had a lot of new features. It could transfer connections to Revit (though I find transferring model to Revit useless!). In Berkeley Etabs you don't notice any change to user interface in last decade! (Can we expect Ribbon in robot 2012?! )

It would be so much better if Autodesk considered working on real tools for the structural engineer.
Implementation of EC8 and capacity design is one of them.
Implementation of reinforcing of arbitrary sections is another.
Sure ribbons and working along with Revit is somewhat fun but we can live without them

i strongly agree with dratsiox. fancy toolbars are for fancy softwares. i think it's time autodesk to get a serious involvement in robot evolution.

    We don't need ribbons.
We need more analysis tools ( composite bars ,EC4 , EC8 , more steel connections, thin walled members etc)

It checks only the sections which are in its library (ex. Sadef).
When you make your own thin walled sections , you have problem.
    See related thread.
