Hi,
Is possible to calcultate the critical buckling load (elastic stability limit) given by Euler's formula (Fcr = EI<pi>^2/L^2)?
Thanks!

Hi,
You can find the buckling (or critical) load by two ways in Robot; 1) by performing a buckling analysis and/or performing a 2) Non lineal (geometrical) analysis which stops until the structure collapse (due to the critical load)
Both analysis works for your example (the classical Euler column) or for any other structure.
I made the analysis that you proposed by the two ways. Find attached the files.
Good luck!
