Revit and COBie tool

Afternoon all, I am new to using/working with COBie, although familiar with the concept.

I would like to know if it's possible to use the COBie Revit tool to setup and define the room/space/type information and then transfer that information to another model?

Autodesk has the COBie extensions here: http://www.autodesk.com/campaigns/interoperability

If you want to transfer data from one model to another spaces are might be better for you.
Other option is to export the schedule to excel and then import it back in to fill in the values of your key schedule.
I'm just assuming that's what you're doing.
But you'll need one of the many available tools to do export/import from excel to revit and vice versa.
