Raster Image In Model

I can pin a raster image so it does not get moved. Is there something I can do to it so it does not get selected? Every time I try to select something, it gets selected.

Are you talking about a raster image as a decal or on an output sheet? Or is it somehow placed in a live view? Either way, though, I think your best option is to add it to a design option. That way you won't accidentally select it. I think there's another workaround involving worksets, but the design option is a little simpler.

After trying to place a raster image in a design view I learned that this is not allowed, so the option of putting images in a design view is not an option as a way to keep from selecting it when trying to select other objects that are contained withing the area of the image.
