zoom & instant pan problem

Hi to all.
I installed a microsoft mouse to my home pc a few weeks ago and the problem is common to all my Autodesk applications (Autocad, 3ds max) :
When i zoom with the middle button and instatly i pan, i'm having a delay.
The delay is just for a sec, but when you are working fast it's very annoying.
Any ideas?

i am having the same issue. it started this morning after my IT guy installed a new driver for my mouse. Any suggestions?

OK, i just uninstalled Microsoft intellimouse and that fixed the problem for me.
