curved roof

I am trying to create a curved roof for my building and i'm not sure how to.
The roof is suppose to cover the open area shown in the jpeg attachment. I've tried extruding a 2d face along one of the curve, however the problem with that is the top curve and the bottom one are not the same. i have also tried to create the wall using the edge surface command and i end up with a polygon mesh shown in green. The polygon mesh follows both curves but i can't give it depth.

depending on how many different curves you have, going on, it could take a while to get correct.
I'd look at using masses, then convert them to roof slabs after you get everything set the way you want.
I can't tell if what you have is non-planer, or consistent curve. ie curved roof or more of a sphere, or a true mesh. If mesh you may want to check out the drape tool. It's used to create very complex topo surfaces that you can blend together. Again, create one for the top and one for the ceiling, subtract the ceiling from the top and that should do it.
