Default Space color fill not visible when printed

When I look at a view with the Visibility for Spaces -Color Fill and -Interior checked, the spaces appear filled in light green, as expected. When I print this view to a color PDF, there is no color.

When I do the same thing with Rooms, I can see the light blue color fill of the Rooms in the PDF.

Does anyone know why this does not seem to work for Spaces?

    Does it surprise you?
You need to create a Legend for spaces.
