Sure. I have several Palette Groups, organized by discipline (Strucutural, arch, Mech, Etc) with palettes already categorized. I created them in vanilla AutoCAD and exported them to an XGP file (which is more-or-less a XML file) via the Customize Palette interface. The Import PaletteGroup feature is not available in ACA/MEP.
I meant "Load" by wanting to Load that exported .XGP file in AutoCAD Architecture or AutoCAD MEP as a Palette Group, so I can borrow the Palette structure/content and not have to setup the structure manually in all our AutoCAD products.
I have the same Palette location Paths captured in ACA/MEP as with Regular AutoCAD, but without them grouped, I get about ~100 Palette Tabs. There lies the problem.
Sure I can demand-load the PalettePaths, by macros, by discipline to overcome this issue, but wanted to expand on the use of our Palette Groups.
Thanks for the example. I'll check it out and report back.b-t-w, I'm using 2011 products.
