have you tried to repair or reinstall the application yet?

did it ever work on that machine? if so, what's changed since then?

Just befor at home he didn't wanted.

Forgot to mention that the install is on a laptop (Dell Latitude E6510).

it is possible that your profile is corrupted, I've had that happen in the past where all it would do was give me a fatal error right off the bat.

    It's a possibility.

At this moment no startup problem. So I will wait with creating a new one to test it out.

Maybe it's weird to think but I noticed that when I'm working on battery power and it is lower than 24% I got the error. Plugging in the adaptor and no error is popping up.
I searched the internet for something likewise but with no result for software. Hardware things that get shut of yes, but no software.

Hope it will help some other users.

Also ensure you have the latest SP for 2010. I recall a recent support call with autodesk and they said better stability is achieved with SP1 and 2010...

Had a user with that same error....

How we solved it was open a session of Autocad, which forced a fatal error screen and before shutting the fatal error screen down, open a separate session of Autocad.... Seemed to work and haven't heard anything back from that user about it. This occured 2 weeks ago and as far as I could find out, by opening the 2nd session on Autocad, it reset one of the variables within the registry (as found out from another forum)
