Red face derived mirrored sheet metal part flat pattern

    Hey All,
I have a derived/mirrored sheet metal part that I would like to create a flat pattern for. I can get Inventor to create what it calls a flat pattern for this part, but the part is still bent. I have already tried creating a flat pattern in the original part before deriving the mirrored part. Any suggestions?

    Good Morning

The first thing to do is check the sheet metal parameters within your derived part. When you mirror or derive a sheet metal component the material thickness is automatically set to default.

    Hope this helps

You can also try selecting a face prior to executing the Flat Pattern command.
