Edit view scale text

Hi All--

Does anyone know how to edit the view scale text to remove spaces between numbers and symbols when the view is added to a sheet? (example: 1/4"=1'-0" and not 1/4" = 1'-0"). I know this may seem nitpicky but it's the kind of thing my office would like to have control over as we transition into REVIT...

You can modify the text by selecting 'Custom' from the scale on the view control menu. Set the Display Text to what you'd like. This is a view specific override and unfortunately I don't know of a way to make this change globally nor does it appear to save as part of the view template. Anyone?

Yes, I have played with the "custom" option, but like you said Dimitri, this doesn't seem to result in a permanent or global adjustment to the view template.
