database inspector (AsdkInspectorVC8.arx)

I have recently started watching the video at the link listed below. There was a Database Inspector.arx (AsdkInspectorVC8.arx) file used to open the current drawings database. This is one of the most helpful things I have ever seen.

Does anyon know how I can get my hands on a database inspector (AsdkInspectorVC8.arx) for Architectural Desktop 2010?

Its available to ADN members, of which I am not. Fenton gave me the C++ solution and permission to distribute it. You can compile it for whatever version you need.

How do I compile it for Arch Desktop 2010? I am using VS Express 2010 and it is telling me that the solutions are unavailable.

For some reason 2008 express will not allow me to open it either. Thanks for your help Ed.

Does anyone already have the .arx file that is compatible with Arch Desktop 2010?

The Express editions are language specific. You need the C++ edition. I assume you are trying to load the solution in C# or VB.

works very well. . .

I figured out my initial issue; I was trying to use the inspector on a 64 bit machine. All the inspectors I used were not compatible with 64 bit. As soon as I tried it on a 32 bit machine it worked great.

Does anyone know if there is an inspector for 64 bit?

Both Inspector and MgdDbg listed in that blog post included the source for you to compile to whatever you need.

The MgdDbg works great in 64bit.
