    Default Aero messing up UI

    Hi folks,
I've been having occasional problems with the Windows 7 Aero Themes messing up the AutoCAD Architecture 2009 and 2012 user interfaces. I just started testing 2012 and after installation noticed that when I drag the AutoCAD window from my left monitor to my right monitor, the application button "A" floats off to the left of the window onto the other monitor. The minimize, maximize, and close buttons also do not work. (Image attached)

I also noticed that Revit 2011 & 2012 have issues with Aero. The status bar at the bottom of the window show gibberish and overlapping text when it is maximized. (Image Attached)

I'm not 100% sure it is the Autodesk products. It doesn't appear to be happening on any other computers, even ones with the same video card. I've tried numerous video drivers as well with no fix.

I realize Aero is a waste of cpu and memory, but its not nearly as bad in 7 as it was in Vista. I have to admit I like it. The standard Windows UI is boring without it. I guess if it is an issue without a fix or workaround, I'll just have to turn it off.

Anyone have any fixes for this?

    Thanks,
    Jim
