Question How to join Tread and Riser?

    Hi there.

How would one go about joining a tread and a riser in a stair family? See attached stair .rvt
Sort of like a monolithic stair with a stepped underside!

    Thanks

    I don't think it's possible.

You could model the assembly as a single in-place family extrusion.

Once you create a tread thickness your going to get the lines... Your best bet is to use a fill region to show them as one material...

    Or create a in-place component...but that won't show as a stair

Or use the linework tool to make the lines in between invisible.

    Thanks for the responses!

An invisible line will have to do the trick...

    Thanks again,
