xl2cad symbols problem

Hi All,

I have a couple of computers here running the same cad and excel versions. The good ones import the symbols in excel e.g. deg C, import as %%D, the others import the deg symbol as a question mark.

Does anyone know how to fix this?

Are the XL2CAD settings identical on both the "good ones" and the other computers?

The settings in the xl2cad toolbar in autocad are the same, I dont know where else to look.

I meant the settings in the Style Manager.
Are there any font overrides set on either system?

Yeah, the settings in the style manager are the same. I've played with the settings in there a bit, changed fonts in excel too, despite all that my computer always imports the degrees symbol as %%D. Which is great for me but the others computers wont do it.

One of our IT guys lost alot of hair on this problem a couple of years ago, he did figure it out but left no documentation.
