Lost Express Tools

Autocad 2010

Hi, today I had problems with fatal crashes which Autodeak resolved by recomending a product update "AutoCAD (R) Mechanical 2010 Product Update 2 (40.808 MB) " After uploading and installing the update, I now find the Express tools have vanished!

I checked in the CUI in the "Workspaces - 2D Drafting & Annotation Default" where there is an "unresolved 1 (Group Express)" entry

Unfortunately it is beyond my skills to reolve, any clues what has happened.

I've tried all the usual Command "Expressmenu" and "Expresstools" with no success

I don't have 2010 in front of me, but check your support file search paths for a path like C:\Program Files\Autodesk\AutoCAD\EXPRESS (not sure if that is the exact path for 2010). If that is present, make sure that location actually contains some files, then try to partially load the menu using the ._MENULOAD command.

The menu file will be in your profile (for example: %appdata%\autodesk\AutoCAD\enu\support\acetmain.cuix) --- however your path may vary.

Thanks a million, Express Tools path located, changed and everything back to pre update
