Exclamation World File import - File path length limitation

    Hi all

I wonder if someone can confirm this for me.

It would appear that there is a path name length limitation when inserting an image with an associated world file (.jgw in my case).

I have had issues lately where an image would insert okay from one folder but not another. I have since realised that the images that do not pick up the world file are in folders with a long path name. It would appear that there is a limitation somewhere around 128 characters, any longer than this and Map does not pick up the corresponding world file in the same folder as the image.

Anyone else picked up on this?

    Cheers

There are/were issues with long paths/file names with the map import and export. So I would not rule it out with images as well.

Confirmed, I ran into the file path limit yesterday and only figured it out this morning. I didn't figure out the maximum allowable file path length, but I did have a path that was 130 characters long and Map couldn't find the world files.
