    Default Revit and CAD standard

    Dear All,

We are in the transition phase ( from AutoCAD to Revit). 50% of office is on Revit. 50% on AutoCAD. so we need to export Revit views to AutoCAD for these users which create a drawing with its own CAD standard.

Being CAD Manager, what approch is correct. ( should I change Revit standard to match AutoCAD standard or Vice versa.

Which is the best way to make both user happy.

    Regards,
    Annie

Well I can tell you for a fact that there simply is no way to make EVERYTHING in Revit match EVERYTHING in AutoCAD. Vice versa may be possible but I can't say for sure.

In my opinion this is why projects should be documented 100% in Revit. Trying to mix and match Revit and CAD will prove quite difficult to get everything to match up just right.
