Default Components are Pasting to the Wrong Level

    Hello,

I've been having this problem: Some of the elements that I try to paste onto Level 2 are showing up on Level 1 instead.

    What I'm doing:
    1. I select a group of components, including plumbing fixtures, casework, and furniture.
    2. I copy them.
    3. I attempt to paste them into another level. I've tried the following paste options:
    Aligned to Selected Levels
    Aligned to Current View
    Aligned to Picked Level
I've tried moving them in elevation using the Move command, but they only move laterally. I've selected them and changed their level to Level 2 in Properties, but they stay on Level 1 (and retain Level 2 in Properties).

In this case, I am pasting components between two files, and the beds and couches are showing up on Level 1. However, in the past, I've tried copying and pasting plumbing fixtures within the same file, and have seen fixtures that were supposed to end up on Level 1 floating around on Level 2, and vice versa.

Has anyone ever had this problem before? Do you know how to fix it?

    Thanks!

Yes we have seen this issue and I do not know of a fix. Seems like the Paste Aligned to Level doesn't really work like it should.

Don't think "Tips and Tricks" is the best place for this topic, though.

Had a similar proble with a split level dwelling, (floating bathtub)
I think my problem related to the way i had created the wall based components and
wether they were aligned to the reference plane or them to the bottom of the wall.
