Default fill region DC in RCP

i nested DC w/ solid fill region into lighting fixture family, when loaded into project, solid fill region won't show in RCP view unless i make ceiling transparent or using other non-solid pattern, somehow ceiling will "hide" solid fill region portion of DC but "line" portion of DC is OK, how do you guys solve that issue? thanks

Not sure I am exactly understanding your problem. I have noticed that the display order is reversed when viewing thru a reflected ceiling plan vs a floor plan. I am assuming you are using a solid white fill to mask out the ceiling grid of the linked model. If That is the case your mask could be blocking the other fill pattern. What I usually do is make a duplicate of my emergency battery exc... fills on both sides of the mask fill. That way it will show properly on both reflected ceiling plan and floor plan.

I was able to get around this problem by printing to via raster rather than vector. Hope this helps, no idea what was causing it.

thanks, looks like raster always being the super-glue -> fix strange VG issue.
