Use extracted attribute table to modify block's attributes?

I posted this in the AutoCAD LT support section (since that's what I use), but there are others in my office who use full AutoCAD, so I figured I should post both places.

in full acad, under express tools, there are matched tools to Export Attribute Data, and Import Attribute Data. I suspect that will get you where you need to be, but not in LT

Actuall, it's pretty trivial to import the delimited file into a spreadsheet program, modify it there, and save it back for importing.
