Working on a project where a Floor Plan View type (seen in image as the First Floor Equipment Plan) is now a Elevation view type.
Has anyone else seen this? Can we re-associate it with the correct view type?
thanks!

umm whoa, have never seen that. I would suggest you let Autodesk take a look at it.
I like how you have your PB arranged, though, using the View Group and Drawing Type parameters.
Thanks - we've been working on the browser organization for a bit - now its even better than this.
Ended up sending in a support request to Autodesk...which would work fairly well...except the drawings are out to bid and we are concerned about getting everything back into the view after we have to re-create it...but it appears like that is what we will have to do.
Response below:
I understand you have a floor plan in your Revit Architecture 2011 project, that is showing up as an elevation view in the project Browser.
This indicates that the view has become corrupted within the project. The only way to fix the issue is to delete and recreate the view. I would suggest going through the appropriate set of steps below to clear the view:
Non-workshared projects:
1. Remove the view from the project, save the project and close it.
2. Reopen the project checking the Audit checkbox in the file open dialog.
3. If the project file successfully opens, purge unused families from the project using "Purge Unused" on the Manage Ribbon tab.
4. Save the project to a new name.
Workshared projects:
1. Remove the view from the project, save the project (synchronize with the central file) and close it.
2. Have all the users synchronize their local files with the central file.
3. Reopen the project checking the Audit and Detach from Central checkboxes in the file open dialog of Revit.
4. If the project file successfully opens, purge unused families from the project using "Purge Unused" on the Manage Ribbon tab.
5. Save the project to a new name (on the server).
6. Create new local files from the new central file.
Note: If you have linked files which would cause difficulties when saving to a new name, create a backup of the existing project, and then use the Save As command and resave to the same name.
Once the view has been removed from the project and the project has been audited and purged of unused families, recreate the view.
In addition, this issue has already been logged with our Development group who look to be working on a fix to be released with a future version of Revit.
I would do the above, but I would try to re-create the plans beforehand so you can copy/paste annotation and detail items from the old to the new views. Then remove the offending views and perform an audit as described.
I have one project in 2011 where I've had my 3d view change itself into a different type of view. Not sure how it happened or why and I can't change it back.
