    Default Attaching Photos to DWG?

    Hello!

Is there a way to attach photographs to dwg drawing?
I have drawing with access data base attached to it and in that data base I have some photos.
Unfortunately in table under "Picture" column all I can see is " <Blob Data> ".
In properties of the object under "Picture" I can see number "1" but I have no idea how to view the picture.
If I want to view picture I have to detach data base from drawing, open it and than view it in access.
Is there any way to view it in cad?
I'm using AutoCAD Map 2010 but I also have access to Map 2012.

    Thanks!

I'm sure I read that post when it was published, but I'm glad I ran across this thread to remind me of it.
I will certainly be referring back to that blog post and putting it to use in the future.

    Next steps....

    1) Point AutoCAD to a directory full of geotagged images and have it place a block at those locations... then
    2) Browse around with the cursor and have the photo "pop up" in AutoCAD when it hovers over one of these special blocks.

The next version of Raster Design "SHOULD" have that if the product team is listening to users. Gaming software has been doing it for years with raster images and videos, it's time to port it over to the CAD side.
