I didn't see any other place to post ACA 2011 questions, so I'll put it here.
I am running a Dell T5400, with quad Xeon X5450 @ 3 GHz, with NVidia Quadro 4000 on Windows 7 and 64 bit.
When I zoom in close enough to select a point for drawing a line or other basic element, the cursor hangs up, and after several attempts, becomes impossible to manage. I can zoom way out and take a guess on a snap point, but doesn't usually work, either. This tends to happen, regardless of the complexity of the areas to be snapped. For example, there will an intersection of two walls, which also shows columns. Even if I try to select a point in open space without snapping, the cursor hangs.
I tried closing out of ACA all together, and that only worked for a couple of clicks. Then, it went back to the hangups. This has been going on for several months, and our IT people can't find a cause.
Is this an Autodesk issue, or a computer issue?
