Default New to Auto CAD MEP 2010 HVAC

I just switch to MEP 2010 from 2008 and have two questions that I figure should be easy to figure out but I can't, probably because i am very busy and rushing.

First I can't get labels (the sizes) to appear on my flex duct.

My other problem is my standard duct sizes are all funny. like it will have me create a duct that is 12-11/16" in diamante instead of 12" and when i switch it to 12 it asks me it i want to create a custom duct size every time which is a huge pain.

If anyone knows ho to solve either of these it would be much appreciated.

    Thanks

I resolved my problems i needed to be in imperial mode not global apparently. For the funny duct sizes. I also got labels on flex duct the only problem is its only on the new duct I draw. really hoping i don't have to redraw all my flex. if anyone knows how to get around that.

Hit Ctrl+3 on your keyboard to open the Tool Palettes. Right-click the edge of the Tool Palette and towards the bottom select the HVAC Tool Palette. Under the Annotation tab, use the "Label" tool to quickly add sizes to any duct, pipe, or flex.
