    Default Beveled Tap

Is there a way to make this family come in at the correct orientation? It always inserts itself backwards and you have to flip them all...one by one...

I have wondered the same thing. Seems it is a 50-50 guess by the software, where 90% of the time it will choose the wrong way.

I found out it inserts the boot towards the direction the duct you are connecting to was drawn.

For example, if you draw a duct from right to left on your screen then connect a duct via the beveled tap, the bevel will face left. If you draw right to left the bevel will face right. So unless you draw your duct backwards from the end of the run they are always wrong. I don't know of anyone who would ever do that.

Model your duct in the direction of flow and you'll never have to flip the bevel again.

Only in the case of exhaust and return duct. It will always be wrong for supply.
