I'm running Autocad 2008. I noticed today a dwg file of a small building I am working on jumped from 7mb to well over 20mb.
I tried doing a purge, I even downloaded and used cleanupscales, but without any luck.
I managed to fix the issue by copying each object and moving it over to a new blank sheet now the file size is only 1mb, but I want to know what those hidden objects/elements are that are eating up all that memory so I can fix it if it happens again.
I still have the 7mb file and I was wondering if anyone would be interested in looking at it to see the problem. I have scanned is for viruses with avast and avg and nothing has shown up.
