    Default Editing Imported Objects

After a drawing is imported with the "preserve layer colors" option, how can it be converted to a grayscale drawing or vice versa?

If you go into your visibility settings the DWG etc. Categories tab, you can choose to override the projection and pick a colour from there or simply select 'halftone'.

Go to Vis Graphics, Dwg/Dxf/Dgn tab, select dwg import and expand to show all layers / select all in the Projection column / Override line colour to black, or select halftone.

Alternatively, reimport is often just as quick.
