attaching walls to roof

hi guys,
i need to attach the perimeter walls only to the roof. not the interior walls. how may i do that

Your roof is going to have to height offset at the same height as the top of your perimeter walls. I'm assuming that your perimeter walls are higher (inches or so) than your interior walls so yeah, just set the roof to height offset at the same height as the top of your perimeter walls and you should be good.

If you need to make penetrations in the roof for miscellaneous things, manually draw out lines on your ceiling floorplan to first draw out the roof, and then draw out/box out sections within the roofs area where you don't want the roof to appear. (example: boxed out hole in your roof drawing for stairs going from top level to some sort of outdoor loft on the roof.)

not sure I understand the question. Pick the exterior walls, click Attach (top is selected by default), then select the roof. Done.
