    Default 2012 archiving?

When I first installed Revit 2012 a few months ago, I thought I saw something in the "what's new" section about an archiving tool that makes it easier to save copies of the model. It had something to do with the detach from Central command but I can't seem to find anything.

Does anyone know what I'm talking about and how I can save an archive copy of my model? Thanks!

I think perhaps the feature you are referring to is the "disable worksets" when using Detach from Central.

This becomes useful when sending a file to a consultant or uploading to a collaboration site, when the recipient(s) do not want to use the file as a Central File or enable worksets.

Up until 2012, you could not really "disable" worksets once a Central File was created.

Not sure that answers your question?

    cheers

That's absolutely what I was talking about. Thanks! I knew it was hiding somewhere
