Question Extracting Information from a Family

I've created an arch top window family with an offset apex from center. In doing so the parameters are based on radius and offset rather then leg heights of either side of the window.

I may be missing something simple, but does anyone know how to extract information (such as leg heights) to use in schedules from a family...without making new parameters that try to control the model?

In the Familys Type dialog. Creat a length parameter, don't tie it to a dimension, & then create a formula based on the other parameters to define it.

    i.e.) leg height=radius+2*offset
